World Day of Prayer March 2020
The Service was created and prepared by women of Zimbabwe and shared all over the world.
A country stricken by drought and poverty and they need our prayers.
Tewkesbury Service : Friday 6th March. 2:00 p.m.
Winchcombe Service : Friday 6th March. 1.45 p.m. At: St Nicholas RC Church, Chandos Street
Light refreshments will be served after both services.
The services are for everyone, open to all.

Church Festive Lunch January 2020
So much happened over Christmas time that we had our church festive lunch in the new year. Over 60 people came along to enjoy the meal.
Christmas Tree Festival December 2019 - January 2020
Once again we held our colourful Christmas tree festival exhibition in the church!
Church groups, Local groups, Tewkesbury traders and local schools decorated their trees which were displayed all around the church for a couple of weeks.

On Saturday 14th December from 3pm Everyone was invited to join us for tea, coffee and cake.
Children from Tirlebrook School and the town band entertained us.

The church was open for the afternoon for 'Churches Together' event with:
Music, Craft workshops, Puppet shows and Singing.
and just as a place to rest for peace and quiet and loos!

Christmas Fete November 2019
A big thank you to everyone who helped with and supported the Christmas fete. Running the Stalls: Craft, Cakes, Books, CD’s, DVD’s, Tombola, Jewellery and the refreshments and lunches.
A total of £940 was raised.
Remembrance Sunday November 2019
Sunday Service in the Church and then just outside by the by war memorial for the remembrance service itself.
Tea or coffee and buns before the service.
Last meeting was a meal on Thursday November 7th at 7:00 pm
At the Nottingham Arms, Tewkesbury followed by a Quiz at 8:30 pm.
Tewkesbury Chamber Choir - 'Bach to Beatles' October 2019
Perform a wide variety of music, from classical to contemporary.
In aid of the Air Ambulance fund.
On 12th October at 7:00 pm
THANK YOU to the Tewkesbury Chamber Choir for their recent Bach to Beatles concert at the Tewkesbury church. It was a very enjoyable evening which raised over £425 for the Midlands Air Ambulance.
The concert was the idea of Bette Usher and one of our members, Marylou Nicholas, was in the choir.
Harmony Praise Evening Service October 2019
Our lighter informal sharing praise and worship service with contemporary christian songs, prayer and praise.
The theme was 'New beginnings'.

The Tewkesbury Mop fair October 2019
The Tewkesbury annual mop fair takes place around the streets of Tewkesbury in the second weekend in October.
The church opens up for people to have tea or coffee, use the loo and have a relaxing peaceful sit down for a moment.

Thank you so much to each of you who contributed to the weekend of giving over 5th - 6th October. We celebrated Saturday morning coffee. Harvest, Commissioning, Gift Day, Harvest lunch and about £1,500 was donated. Thank you.

Apperley Harvest Festival September 2019
On: Sunday 29th September at 11.00 a.m. Followed by a Bring and Share Lunch.
Gifts of non-perishable foodstuffs for the Harvest table will be welcome at the service or at the Chapel on the Saturday morning before.
Jayne would like to include your favourite hymn, or piece of poetry or craftwork.

The Wives & Friends Group Afternoon Tea September 2019
Afternoon tea on the Lawn (weather permitting) or in the Church, in aid of MacMillan Nurses.
Please come along and enjoy some home-made cake and a cup of tea in good company.
We raised over £140 despite the damp weather.

Heritage Open Days - Combining 'Ride and Stride' September 2019
Heritage Open Day are part of a national event organised by the National Trust which we have taken part in for many years.
The church is open on the days we have given for people to come in and read about the history of the church and see details of the various memorials etc.

Afternoon Tea for churches in our section September 2019
We are hosting old and new section churches for afternoon tea, sandwiches, cakes and scones.
We hope to have lots of support – to both welcome Winchcombe and say farewell to Tibberton and Hartpury.
The First Monday Fellowship - AN EVACUATION SPECIAL September 2019
On the 80th anniversary of the start of the World War 2 we remember the evacuation of children and vulnerable adults.
Hear from 4 members of our church who experienced evacuation, and ask them questions.
There’ll be photos to see!
Hear a classic morale raiser, and a message from the 14-year old Princess Elizabeth.

Jonny Coppin Concert July 2019
Welcome to a concert evening with Jonny Coppin and Paul Burgess.
Featuring a selection of Gloucestershire's folk music and poems.
Jonny Coppin is a local musician, singer song-writer and composer. He can be can regularly be heard on the local radio.

Church Summer Fair & Medieval Festival weekend July 2019

The actors are John Horton and Pauline Beale both of whom have much experience appearing at many theatres and have taken on varying roles.
'JESUS MY BOY' April 2019
A one man, one act play by John Dowie starring Jonathan Darby.
This funny and moving play tells the story of Jesus as seen through the eyes of Joseph, an ordinary and down-to-earth man.
The play will delight both those who hold Christian beliefs and those who do not.
