Bizzy Fingers

Is our ladies' knitwear group that meets on Tuesday mornings at 10am - 12:30  in Apperley Chapel.

Except for the 1st Tuesday in the month when we are at 'Ashchurch View Care Home' opposite the Tewkesbury army camp.

For more information or to join us.     Please contact Margaret and  Peter  via the  'Contact' page

Some of the group are friends from the village who join with   regular members of our congregations to knit a variety of items   primarily for outside charities.

Much of this handiwork is especially small sized hats, gloves,   mittens and blankets that go to the Gloucester Royal premature   baby unit whilst other children’s knitwear goes to other charities.

All this “hard work” is accompanied by a great deal of   conversation and of course a mug of tea or coffee and biscuits and   usually draws to a close by about 12.30.

In February 2019 we started visiting the 'Ashchurch View Care Home' once every other month to share knitting and fellowship with some of the residents instead of meeting at the chapel. This has been well received by the residents and the group ladies and it is hoped to continue.

A good time is had by all and there is a warm welcome awaiting anyone who wishes to join us.
