Good morning all, I hope all is well with you.
This morning my theme is based on the ancient practice of 'counting blessings' and the importance of this for our mental and spiritual health.
As we look around us it's easy to see how we have so much to be grateful for yet at the same time we live in a world where there is much suffering and heartbreak. How we manage our response to this dualism is vitally important in regard to how we might, in the end, bring about lasting change.
I hope this theme resonates as we navigate these difficult times and as we, a people of faith, try to inspire hope for others for the future.
Keep safe Blessings, Jayne Website: thissacredground.com

Viriditas (Meets in Tewkesbury Methodist Church)
(From Latin, literally "greenness".)
Meets on the 1st Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m.
Viriditas comes from St Hildegard of Bingen, one of the great medieval Christian mystics. For Hildegard, the term Viriditas is the divine force of nature which she saw as the greening power bringing life, energy and healing.
Our monthly meetings will explore all aspects of Viriditas, engaging in Eco projects within and beyond our church.
From practicality to spiritually we will engage in discussions and activities that promote the health and well being of our planet. We will ensure we play our part in caring for the planet: discussing creation spirituality, science and theology, Celtic and mystic perspectives on Creation.
It is intended that we invite speakers, engage in activities and generally promote a healthy approach to our role as stewards of the created world.
All are welcome! Just turn up bringing with you any ideas or thoughts on specific areas of interest or projects you are already involved with.
