Church Away-Day
To all church members and friends – we are arranging a Church Away-Day for our church family – a time for lifting our spirits and thinking positively!
This will be at the end of the year – Monday 28th November at Holland House and will include lunch and morning and afternoon refreshments.
We ended the day with a short informal service in their beautiful chapel.
Holland House is a beautiful Christian retreat centre in Cropthorne, (about 30 minutes from Tewkesbury).
I think everyone enjoyed our day at Holland House last Monday.
Thank you to Mike Jebson who supplied the diverse images of Jesus for us to look at and comment on, to Hilary Woolford who prepared the text of the Prayer Walk which many of us were able to enjoy in the garden in beautiful calm, sunny weather, to Gill for her crafting skills, to Jackie for the book discussion and Wendy for providing needles and yarn for the knit and natter.
Please let me have your feedback but I think from comments already received we shall book another day hopefully during the summer months to enjoy the gardens and surroundings evenmore. . Jean
